ABOUT THIS GAME

Kidnapped and taken to an unfamiliar location, nine people find themselves forced to participate in a diabolical Nonary Game by an enigmatic mastermind called Zero. Why were they there? Why were they chosen to put their lives on the line as part of a dangerous life and death game? Who can be trusted? Tensions rise as the situation becomes more and more dire, and the nine strangers must figure out how to escape before they wind up dead.

Fascinating theories and pseudo science ideas abound along the twisting, turning journey to uncover who Zero is, why everyone was kidnapped, and the shocking connection between the Nonary Games.

In the midst of this, a suspicious letter is sent from one claiming to be a witch.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place in the year 1986 during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a secluded island named Rokkenjima (六軒島). The head of a wealthy family named Kinzō Ushiromiya, who lives on and owns Rokkenjima, is near death, and eleven of his family members arrive on the island to discuss how Kinzō's assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are five of Kinzō's servants, and his personal physician. After the eleven family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered.

ABOUT THIS GAME

After the surface of the world broke down, the city of Novus Aether floats in the sky, thanks to the prayers of the Holy Maiden. Years ago, when the Holy Maiden's prayer was interrupted, an incident known as the "Gran Forte" occurred, causing a portion of the land to fall and split the lower city into two, separated by a cliff.

In time, the lowest layer became the dwelling of all kinds of low-lives, people who lost much of their former lives during the "Gran Forte", becoming known as the "Prison". However, a contagious disease which causes people to grow wings has spread throughout the city, and a unit has been formed to deal with these people swiftly.

In this "Prison" resides Caim Astraea, a freelance ex-assassin who does odd jobs for his friends for money, refusing jobs that require him to kill people. During one request, Caim finds a girl who contracts the wing-disease, enveloped in a light that reminds Caim of the “Gran Forte” years ago...

Ever17 is the tale of seven individuals who come to be trapped 153 feet within the underwater marine theme park, LeMU. During an apparently normal day at the park, a massive accident happens, placing almost half of the facility underwater. The path to the surface and the communication lines are cut off. In addition, LeMU is under constant assault by severe water pressure, limiting time to find a means of escape to 119 hours. Escape is not the only concern, however; many questions arise as to the legitimacy of the accident and whether or not those trapped there were brought there for a purpose.

Puppets lurk beneath the surface of human society, quietly manipulating the course of history. No one knows who creates them, however, or to what end they operate...

Hajiro Mina is an ordinary, first-year high-school girl who has taken to visiting a doll gallery she recently discovered.
She is particularly fond of a beautiful piece of work called Ruka on display deep within the gallery, and she often makes the trek simply to see it.

And then one day, Mina’s whole world changes.
She finds herself with the ability to see the inhuman entities hidden in the crowds.

Ruka is not merely a doll, but a being known as an Eidos with the power to shape the future. And because Mina unwittingly resonated with her, she attained the ability to see—and destroy—Puppets.

Upon awakening to these new powers, Mina is forcibly made a member of an organization that specializes in the eradication of Puppets.
Mina naturally resists, as she simply wants to be a normal high-school girl, but the world is not so kind, and she’s unable to escape from the Puppets.

Other members include Jessica, a genius elementary-school girl; Yang Li-Ling, a beautiful and affluent Chinese businesswoman; and Sumerami Riko, a student at Mina’s school. Together, they do battle against the Puppets, growing closer to one another each day.

However, between the appearance of the enigmatic Takachiho Sayo and the trouble Mina’s close friend Aizawa Makoto finds herself in, the situation rapidly grows more dire.

Are the Puppets truly her sole adversary?
Struggling with uncertainty about her fate, Mina continues to fight...
